2025 Topps WWE Universe Guide: Checklist, Inserts & Autographs

Topps WWE Universe is a new name in wrestling cards, and the debut 2025 set is packed with options. There are 300 base cards plus more than a dozen insert sets, relics, and a deep autograph checklist covering current stars and Hall of Fame legends. Whether you're ripping hobby boxes or picking up specific singles, here's a breakdown of what's in the set and which cards collectors are chasing.

The Short Answer

2025 Topps WWE Universe is a 300-card base set with event variations, colorful parallels, inserts, relics, and autographs. Hobby boxes come with 10 packs of 12 cards each. The biggest chase cards are the Legends Autographs, the serial-numbered parallels, and the low-numbered event variations.

Box Breakdown

A hobby box has 10 packs per box and 12 cards per pack, for 120 cards total. Retailers list a box as averaging about two autographs and one relic, along with numbered parallels and inserts. Like most modern Topps products, results vary from box to box, so if you're after one specific superstar, buying the single is usually the cheaper and more reliable route.

Base Set and Event Variations

The 300-card base checklist covers WWE legends, current champions, and rising talent. It includes a 100-card Event Variation subset themed around WWE's biggest shows: Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, Money in the Bank, SummerSlam, and Survivor Series. These variations, especially the low-numbered versions, are some of the most fun cards to collect in the set, since they tie a superstar to a specific moment or event.

Parallels

Base cards come in a range of colored parallels, many of them serial-numbered. The lower the number, the rarer the card, and parallels numbered to /25 or less are where values start to climb. At the top of the rainbow are FoilFractor 1-of-1s.

Insert Sets

WWE Universe has one of the biggest insert lineups of any wrestling release. Highlights include:

• Namesakes: the largest insert set at 40 cards
• Rage: 30 cards spotlighting intense superstars like Undertaker, Kane, John Cena, and Roman Reigns
• Ring Leaders: a 30-card set
• Masked: 10 cards celebrating masked performers, including Rey Mysterio, Mankind, and "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt
• Star Portal, Dazzling Debuts, International Impact, Foreign Objects, and Remarkable Returns
• WWE Then, WWE Now, WWE Forever, and WWE Together: harder-to-find short-print inserts

Autographs: The Real Chase

Autographs are where WWE Universe really delivers, with nearly 200 signed cards on the checklist across several sets:

• Legends Autographs: a 30-card set of Hall of Famers and all-time greats, including names like Hulk Hogan, Undertaker, John Cena, and Kurt Angle
• Universe Autographs: the main autograph set, featuring today's roster
• Next Level Autographs: focused on rising stars
• Relic autographs: Superstar Relic Signatures, Tag Team Relic Autographs, Worldwide Relic Autographs, and Title Marks
• Special tribute autographs: small, very rare sets honoring John Cena, Triple H, and The Rock

Women's division legends are a big draw in the Legends Autographs. A signed card from a Hall of Famer like Trish Stratus is the kind of hit that holds collector interest long after release.

Raw vs. Graded: What to Look For

Most WWE Universe singles sell raw, meaning ungraded. When you buy raw, check the photos for centering, sharp corners, and clean surfaces. Shiny card surfaces can show print lines or light scratches. For autographs, look for a clean, bold signature that doesn't run off the card or sticker. On numbered cards, make sure the serial number is clearly visible in the listing.

Bottom Line

2025 Topps WWE Universe gives wrestling fans a lot to chase: a 300-card base set, event variations from WWE's biggest shows, a long list of inserts, and an autograph checklist loaded with legends. If you have a favorite superstar, picking up their numbered parallel, event variation, or autograph as a single is the easiest way to add them to your collection.
